Plumber couldn’t do the job first call, despite photos and warning you gave the company so I would say it is unfair.

Client has no hot water from boilermate.
First plumber says he's never dealt with system that has 3
pumps, No charge.
Second plumber says pump to DHW heat exchanger not working but can do nothing because of corrosion. Charge £194.
Fault was air lock, sorted in ten minutes.
Second plumber's fee was excessive given that pump was heard running and problem eventually solved without spanner work on any suspect pipework.
On the plus side it made my fee for replacing with unvented cylinder more than reasonable.

I had the same issue with a man coming out to look at the washing machine, sent photos of the issue he came identified the issue and then sent someone else out, he just did the exact same thing! why did they not communicate with one another :lol:

A coy way to ramp up the bill catching out those who dont keep a keen eye on things eh!

they always do this this happened with my washing machine after we told them each time what the issue was
