Hi all, I want to add a new rad to the existing system. I have limited plumbing experience but zero experience with radiators.

I have attached a couple of drawings showing the original rad and where the new rad is going, would you think it would be ok to plumb it like that?

Original Rad New Rad Any help would be great, many thanks

yeah, be fine.
put a lockshield on the existing rad then open slightly and it wont choke down the new rad-put a trv on that one.
dont go straight through wall either or you will struggle to plumb it.

Cheers for your reply, I don't think I've got any alternative than to go through the wall, the floor is concrete, but as you said its going to be a pain to plumb in

best to connect near the bottom of the pipe drops, through 22mm sleeved holes in wall then turn allong skirting and up into rad. the slightly longer way is better for back to back rads as you will be able the manipulate pipes better,
