i always do, quick wipe around underneath and only sods laaw if it leaks,
dont have to go back twice then!

Yea, I always used a smear of silicone.
Then I finally decided I was only giving myself extra work and having the nuisance to clean up excess silicone.
But I still think it was better to use it.

I was just trying to sound professional. :lol:
Honest method is usually a heavy bead on most of it and then wipe of half of it away when it inevitably squeezes out. :roll:
