hi,
if it only serves your home & its on your property its your responsibility until it reaches shared or public sewers or extends past your boundary.
be very careful where you believe your boundary to be though. i have lived at my present home for 30 years and just recently found my boundary fence 3 feet into next doors garden behind a wall!
