A British owned Sanitaryware manufacturer in the UAE is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join the Technical Department in the Dubai (UAE). please see the Job Specification below:

Role Summary:
Supports the Technical Team and service-related operations

Job Description
• Work closely with the Project, Retail and Trade divisions to support in Product Technical cases being resolved efficiently.
• Perform analyses, create reports, and assist to implement emergency plans.
• Advise and instruct the service technicians in regard to cases.
• Assist in planning spares parts before case visit to resolve on first occasion.
• Support and maintain the standards of the technicians including uniforms and tools.
• Carry out regular training schemes to ensure technicians are up to standard to complete the work.
• Create and maintain working relationships with Key Contractors and Clients for preventative measures.
• Recommends changes to products or services to fulfill customer needs.
• Participate in root cause analysis and communicate findings to other departments and management.
• Able to juggle priorities to meet deadlines without cutting corners.
• Follow-up and take responsibility for unresolved issues or escalations.
• Helping improve and develop the knowledge and skills of others.
• Must be willing to Travel at short notice.

Core Competencies
• Plumbing/Construction industry qualification (NVQ 2/3 or equal equivalent)
• Knowledge and background in plumbing/bathroom installations.
• Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work and contribute within a team environment.
• Ability to work to deadlines and perform accurately in pressure situations
• Strong personality, with a hands-on mentality
• Able to work on own initiative to develop the team
