Any procedure advisable to do when freezing plastic barrier pipes using spray freeze?
I read advice to clamp the pipe to prevent the ice plug moving

cant you just squeeze of the pipe?

put a dent in copper and clamp or bend plastic if freezing!

Am thinking of partially clamping the plastic pipes just past the freezing point to prevent ice plug moving.
I have no experience with pipe freezing on plastic

It takes longer to form the plug the plastic insulates the water. Bit of card board over it and a gentle squeeze with mole grips.

Sounds a plan using mole grips. Saves me having to buy or carry any specialist tools.
