Hello and thnks for reading.

I have to replace galvanised water tank in roofspace with a polytank.
Both outlet feeds are in the base of the old tank.
Is it good practice to fit these outlet pipes in the base of the polytank as opposed to the side.
The new tank will be fully supported with heavy plywood with access holes for these fittings.

Hi,
normally come with instructions where to cut holes.
problem with bottom outlet they will allow accumulatd crud sitting in the tank to dbe drawn down blocking valves etc.
best off mounting 3'' up from tank base.
